Red Label Issue

I bought a used RL 410- prefix recently. Of course, I couldn't check the function in the shop with the lock on the trigger so...
I finally got snap caps and what I found is that, the first barrel selected for fire functions, but when I switch to the other barrel it doesn't fire. It doesn't matter if you select the upper or lower barrel first, the second selection doesn't fire. In addition, only the Top barrel ejects the shell, the bottom does not.
There was a Youtube video with a seemingly identical issue which was remedied by backing the stock bolt out a bit. It was interfering with the trigger reset function. That wasn't the problem with mine. I see Numrich has most of the parts but the question is, "which one(s)". I'm no gunsmith and not very mechanically inclined. Any help would be appreciated.

There are some things that are worth finding a gunsmith for. This would fall into that category for me, especially after recently seeing the inner workings of a Red Label that is sitting at my gunsmith's with a broken stock.

If I'm interpreting that correctly, you're firing the first barrel and then moving the selector to the other barrel before firing it. If so, that's not how it works. The selector determines which barrel fires first, but does not need to be moved in order to fire the other barrel - just pull the trigger again. The Red Label is a "mechanical trigger", unlike many other over/unders, which have a "recoil trigger" that uses the recoil of the firstshot to reset the trigger for the second barrel.

You're correct about not having to move the barrel selector. In any event, it still won't fire on the 2nd barrel and the bottom barrel ejector is still not working.

I wish I could find a qualified gunsmith but those that can work on a RL are few and far between.

Just a follow-up on this...
After making a few phone calls, I found a local gunsmith who was familiar with the Red Labels. I dropped it off on April 10th and checked back a week or so later. He found the issue and had to order a part (from Numrich) and make another. He said the parts were missing! from the shotgun! Due to the USPS being a mess these days it took until this week for the part to arrive from Numrich (which usually has great shipping). He got it together and it's back in my hands for just under $100. It was one of the ejectors in the fore end. Can't wait to bring it to the range to pattern it! Thanks for your help!
