I took some time off yesterday and went to my local shooting range. It was cold, wet and windy but I wanted to shoot anyway. After shooting pistols and rifles I decided to go ahead and shoot some trap with my Red Label 20 ga. Being windy I didn't expect too much. It had been a few weeks ago since I last shot trap. Then I was shooting with my 1187 12 ga. and did ok. Anyway I shot two rounds yesterday and had a 23 and a 21. Now I am not a very good trap shooter, I just really enjoy doing it. But I was very pleased. I really like the way my Red Label fits me and it handles great!

Wow, that's awesome shooting. Now get some quail in Alabama! I used to know where to find them in NC but they're getting rare. Seems there's three skill levels on the trap field from best to worst:

1.) Those who shoot trap religiously and shoot 24-25.
2.) Those that hardly shoot a shotgun at all and shoot 18-22.
3.) Those that shoot any other shotgun sport well and therefore hit 12-18 on trap and therefore make fun of trap shooters.

Start using it on the skeet field and you can follow the progression to number three:-)
