Pierced Ears.............

During the weekend, the young school teacher (female) got her ears pierced. Monday her young students were fascinated by the act, and asked many questions concerning the procedure.

The most frequently asked question was "Did it hurt?"

One little boy did ask that question, and the teacher replied: "No, just a little prick. They shot them in with a little gun."

Skeptical, the boy asked,"From how far back?"

I was asked by my mother some years before she died when I was going to get a tattoo or a pierced ears. I promised her that when dad did I would. Dad died in 2008 and never did get either one.

When my dad retired, he stuck a gold fishing hook through his ear lobe. He wore it for about a month, then cut the Barb off and took it out.

Good for you! I believe the Bible condemns the practice. Folks may disagree with me, and that's O.K. But I'll go to my grave, should that happen, unmarked and unpunctured.
