Took my mini-14 out shooting again. I shot 15 rounds out of the 20 round magazine and noticed no casings were being ejected. We looked all around and NO spent casings on the ground. We watched the action on the last 5 rounds and no casings were ejected. I put in another magazine and fired 2 rounds (I believe they were a different brand). The casings ejected with no problems. I don't know what to think or do about this. Any ideas?
Do you also own an automatic bolt action single shot?

Can videos be posted here?

Yes. But.....you have to become a supporting member to watch them. Once you become a supporting member you will be sent a couple decals, a nice hand written thank you note, special glasses that will allow you to see posted videos (videos only last 24 hrs), and a BS detector that plugs into a USB port that lights up when you read BS in a thread.

Don't get people using the word "casings". Casings can be the outside of sausage. The term is brass. Don't want to hear "spelling Nazi" or otherwise. Just the same as you'd have no respect for a nurse who used the time "needle thingy" for a syringe.
I hear you there Donnieweps, sausage casings would be hard to load in a Mini, but, Reminds me of the time I was shooting my "Old Model" Vaquero at the range, I was on one end and a Mini shooter was on the other, had to be 30 or more feet away. I was getting brass landing on me the whole time. They do spit them out far.
