Lets do this. Let's take 10 spent casings, open your receiver and dump them in and then fire 5 more rounds. Bet you can't do it. The spent brass isn't disintegrating, you just don't see it. It is either that or you are just trying to up your post count.

Hmmm... post count boost seems increasingly as likely as does an alternate use for that butterfly net suggestion...

As Midway sells nothing but copper "brass" who cares about steel cases? Few people reload for AKs using steel cases, hard to work with, accelerates wear on the extractor.

I have a Ruger Mini 30 and reload for it, nothing but brass. Don
