Need help!!! Mini 14 Reassembly

I disassembled my Mini 14 and cleaned it but now I've screwed up reassembly and not sure what to do. I put the barrel and bolt assembly back together and snapped into the stock. Then I put trigger mechanism back in and tried to rack the bolt back to lock in place and it wouldn't budge. Knowing the gun was empty I pushed the safety off and pulled the trigger while pointed in a safe direction (I know stupid but I just had the gun completely apart with no ammo anywhere around or in the room). Anyway that didn't work and now I can't get the trigger mechanism out to start dissassembly again because it has to be cocked with the safety on, which I don't know how to now do. Anybody help?

Yes, that's how I knew what to do to disassemble and reassemble, but I did something wrong and now it is no longer cocked and in safety, and I get get it to rack so that it will be cocked, so don't know what to do.

You can see the hammer by looking into the side of the reciever.
Find or fashion something that will reach in there and cock the hammer, then you'll be able to unlatch 'n remove the trigger group.

Oh BTW....your op-rod's spring guide is upside down. Look in the manual for the drawing which depicts it's correct orentation.

I did see something silver and metal behind the bolt that seemed to be blocking it. Not sure if it helped but I inserted an empty magazine and then pulled the charger handle enough that it moved the silver metal piece which must have been the trigger cocking mechanism because it appeared to cock it and I could put the safety on and begin disassembly again. I don't know how you knew without a picture that the op-rod's spring guide was upside down but before I had read this, that was something I tried, i.e. I took the spring guide out and then adjusted it and reassembled it and I must have gotten it right this time. Anyway, was able to reassemble and rack the charger handle and bolt back and lock it and all seems well again. However, my bolt looks like it has either just lost a lot of its bluing or has done a lot of metal to metal scraping which may mean I haven't been cleaning and lubricating it enough? Thinking about buying a new bolt but can't find one available anywhere. Anyone know where one can be found?

The bolt is subject to a lot of rather harsh movement every time the gun is fired so finish wear is to be expected. That said though, keeping the gun cleaned and properly lubed between uses will help keep it to a minimum.
As far as I know, new bolts are only available from Ruger, and they will only sell it if they install it. In other words, you'll have to send them your rifle in order to have the bolt replaced.
