Interesting BKH 47

I thought I dig threw one of my family only gun safes. found this BK 47 with a tag on it. said uncle bobs gun, bought new in 1960. the ser # is 22683. as of today it was not listed on the known 47 gun list. No Logo on the barrel. one of the nicest ones I've ever seen in used condition. I thought I call my uncle Bob to BS about this gun, he,s now 96yo. that I bought from him prior to joining the Army in 1978. gun has not seen day light since I retired in 1998. Bob said he recalls it well, fired it only a few times, and it shows it. %100 original. I was 1 year old when it was made, and still in the same family. that seems abit funny to me now. You have good instincts. Getting a family gun before it gets sent down the road. AND to see you "forgot" it,, and it's still in such great condition,, SWEET!!!!!!

Funny thing Tyrone, back in 1978 when I got this gun from uncle Bob, I could have started collecting BK-47s due to the rarity of the 7.5in barrel, instead of collecting Deerstalker Rifles. that would have made me Mr. 7.5in !. im sure the wife would want a 30 second "rebuddle" on that....lol
