The truth be told I'd like to send Watson a care package, cigs, candy whatever he could use to barter with. Maybe a "Go Fund me" just might gain traction and serve as a warning to pedophiles and encouragement for lifers to take action?
My little cousin was molested by a scumbag and it turned out he was well known to the police. That's not good in an Italian neighborhood and they made sure he got out of town, in a wheelchair :)

Yeah for sure, but in some places that's considered "Cruel and Unusual punishment" Like child molesting is not?

I worked at a maximum security prison for many years. I saw a few child molesters get a little bit of prison justice. They are usually kept in protective custody just because the other convicts make it tough on them. I feel no pity for them when they get what they have coming.

It’s sad it is that way. The legal system should give out an appropriate punishment.
I worked with a guy who’s only reason to stay alive was waiting for the guy who killed his daughter to be released from prison. That is a heck of a way to live your life.

The way things are going today , a little good news is nice once in awhile .

I was going to post something but someone might read it and ask questions later.
Probably rare, but I know personally of a person the swamp wanted out of the way, so they framed him for that sort of offense with the hope that other prisoners would take care of the "problem" for them.
I have a friend that spent a couple years behind bars and he said that the guys that regularly got their butts beat were child molesters. Lock in a sock is one of the 'tools'

My wife's cousin is a retired lawyer. In the 70's after passing the bar he was determined to defend the downtrend minorities who were being persecuted by "The Man". He became a public defender.
Now this is a gent with a very strong sense of right and wrong. He has a very strong moral and ethical standard.
A little over a year later he quit the public defender's office and opened his own practice. Some may think he was after the money. But they'd be wrong
His practice was estate law. And he did do well. But that wasn't the reason he switched fields. When ask why, he will tell you that in his entire time as a public defender he never represented a single innocent person.
But his job was to use any method possible to "get the accused off". Older public defenders taught him every questionable trick. It ate at him that his job was to prevent the guilty from being punished not protect the innocent from persecution.
By the way have you ever noticed that people testifying in court take an oath to tell the truth? But attorneys, from both sides of the aisle, and judges are free to lie without accountability. And they frequently do sometimes outright others by omission.
