My choices are usually a S&W 642 or an original DAO hammer fired Ruger LC9. They're both very light with similar trigger pulls and disappear in an OWB pancake holster at the 4 o'clock position.

My favorite, particularly in shorts and a t-shirt or polo shirt, is either my XD-S 9mm 3.3” or XD-s mod 2.0 OSP 3.3” .45 ACP. They fit the same holsters. They are thinner than my S&W model 37 or 642. They carry more rounds than either of those. They shoot great.

I received my new Time & Tactical Ruger LCP II holster today. Very well fitted, snug and completely ambidextrous IWB/OWB. They also included spare buffers and a screw set, a separate trigger/laser cover and a CC wallet.

I've switched the LCP II holster over to right side OWB carry for the time being and printed another double magazine holder with a belt clip to go with it...
