Didn't Charlie Bronson and Bruce Willis make movies about that?
All those in favor of vigilante justice chime in with an AYE!
I have lived it. While not a daughter, it was a lovely young lady I knew well. She did everything right, except the selection of boyfriend. He was a "nice" guy. Most of us didn't really like the age difference, but she was in a profession when differences in age weren't seen as that important. He turned violent once. She, called the cops. Since it was he said / she said, even with a sizeable blackeye and bruised cheek, no action was take. She got a restraining order.
He called and told her he was coming to kill her. She called 911. 911 said if he showed up to call back. She never got a chance to make that call. They found her stripped and stabbed 37 times in the face and chest. Her father found her like that hours later.
Ex get away. Cops figured he went back to South America where he was from. By the way daddy has lots of money. He couldn't be found.
Several years later a show in Mexico, like the guy with the dead son did here finding criminals, resulted in his being located. He does get arrested, released in a couple of hours instead of being held for extradition (remember daddy had money). He's finally arrested again and this time held. But he Mexican authorities refuse to extradite if the death penalty is on the table. So the DA says no death penalty and he is extradited to the states.
It gets even worse. Once back, the DA won't even file first degree murder charges against the ex. If calling and threatening murder, bringing a knife with you and finally brutally murdering someone isn't first degree murder isn't I don't know what is. Charge is plea bargained down to 2nd degree murder.
In the end we found out he had brutally attacked another young woman in South America and his parents shipped him to the US. But on the fortunate side, he is slated to be release in about ten years. Maybe it's a good thing he didn't get life without parole.
Tell me executing that animal wouldn't have 100% prevented the murder of an innocent 17 year old woman.
