For those that love a good rich desert with a minimum of clean up; Here's my recipe for :
DUMP CAKE

Those who have been to the Ruger Gathering at Contenders place have had an opportunity to enjoy this desert; I have NEVER had to bring any home with me !!
Ingredients:
1 20 oz can of Crushed Pineapple
1 Can of Cherry Pie Filling
1 Can Blueberry Pie Filling
Note: Depending on your personal tastes, Can be two cans of Cherry or two cans of Blueberry instead of one each. Never tried the BlackBerry Pie filling.
1 box Yellow Cake Mix
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 1/2 cups of Chopped Pecans
1 13 1/4 in. by 9 5/8 in. by 2 3/4 in deep Aluminum Foil Pan (makes easy clean up !!)

Process:
Heat Oven to 350 degree F
THEN:
Spread crushed Pineapple evenly over the bottom of the pan
Spread pie fillings evenly on top of the pineapple ( order of addition your choice)
THEN:
Spread DRY Yellow Cake Mix evenly over the top of the pie fillings
THEN:
Cut Butter into 1/2 inch slices and pat evenly over the cake mix
THEN:
Spread Chopped Pecans evenly over the top of the cake mix and butter.

BAKE for 45 Minutes to One hour UNTIL the top turns a Golden Brown
Can be served hot or cold and IS delicious with Whipped Cream !!

ENJOY !!!!

I thought "smash" cake - thanks for posting & setting me straight, as I've never before heard of "dump" cake.

Yes! It is good. I remember it from 2014 the first time I went to the East Coast Gathering. I’ve made it at home several times since.

And the recipe couldn’t be easier!

I always called this Boy Scout cake. It always seemed to be a staple on Scouting camping trips. My kids always loved it. Plus, it is perfect for the kids to put together.

That would blow the hell out of the KETO diet I'm on. I've lost almost 40 pounds and I don't want to find them again. However, it do sound sound good.

Thinking I might sub some frozen blackberries (I've still got about 5 gallons left) instead of cherries and blueberries. Sounds great! I had heard of "dump cake" but never had it!

Thank you!
