Just saw an advertisement for the new Saturday cartoons. I wonder how they will go over with today's kids. Popeye has a pipe, Elmer Fudd goes hunting with a gun, Wiley Coyote is prone to violence, Yogi bear is a thief, Donald Duck doesn't wear pants, and the list could go on. :wink:

Hi,

I never realized it when I was a wee rat watching Saturday cartoons, but a lot of them used bits of classical music as background. I never knew until I was older what we'd been listening to all those years. What do they get now, hip hop and rap?

Disney's Fantasia wasn't a hit when it first came out, but is now considered a classic. Fantasia 2000 somehow didn't match the original, although the flamingo with a yo-yo is pretty funny.
