Calling all prayer warriors

I've seen some amazing things with you people. So I'm asking for prayers for myself. I go under the knife on Monday. Not a torn rotator cuff, a complete shoulder reconstruction. Apparently worse than I thought. Not looking forward to this, but it's come with a fair amount of pain.

Had my surgery yesterday, the surgeon said multiple times he felt good about the surgery. And didn’t anticipate any problems. I thought it was interesting that he said my bone density was very good, they couldn’t drive some screws in, they had to start over and drill them and tap them.
Stayed over night, expect to be released by noon. I appreciate the prayers so much and believe they accounted for how well things went.

Praying for you. On the bright side, one of our church members had a shoulder reconstruction, and it turned out quite well. As I recall, they reverse the ball/socket relationship.

Marlin, just remember our Father is a God who wants to heal His children if they ask! Also, like the pre-op nurse said before my last joint replacement. They are going to take away your joint pain but give you surgery pain but surgery pain gets better and goes away. Your joint pain won’t!

First of all, I think there should be a religious section like everybody tells me that some post or another should be in the political section. Old saying: Never argue politics or religion. One is not going to change another's beliefs, but since it was brought up, people are always asking to be healed. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Why doesn't God answer everyone's prayers? God gave life and free will. What happed after that, I don't believe God inteferes into. Instead for asking, one should just say, "Thank you for giving me what I have!"

One is not going to change another's beliefs, but since it was brought up, people are always asking to be healed. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Why doesn't God answer everyone's prayers? God gave life and free will. What happed after that, I don't believe God inteferes into. You don’t how that hurts me. I might be able to do the second one, if my son can help me with the in and out part, but I want to see how I’m doing before I commit.
