A standard police issue for females and detectives was 32 s&w long, aka 32 colt police, and popular with private investigators, too. 6 rounds 32 in the same size package as 5x38.
The one I have is the PT99. It's the same gun as a PT92 but with an adjustable rear sight. One of the pros is it has a a safety that works just like a 1911. Not sure why Beretta went with the Walther type safety on the slide but it consider it ass backwards. You can carry mine just like the 1911 in condition one if you prefer that method. How do you like the Taurus? I’ve been thinking about one…
I own a Taurus 92.... it's a fine firearm.... accurate and reliable.. my trigger is fine for a service gun.... The beretta 92 started out with a frame mounted 1911 style safety... the army wanted a decocker, so they redesigned it... I was in while the trails were going on, and a guy in my company had an early beretta with the frame safety... It was being sold commercially at the time...The one I have is the PT99. Beretta makes a 92 tiny version in 32 acp. The model 81... or at least they did...
