We just put down new hardwood flooring in our house and I would like a couple sets of grips made from it for my 1911.
It's Australian Cyprus andmits very fence wood and has lots of contrast and I have one peice that's burly that would look great.
Please let me know if any of y'all would be interested in making me a couple sets .
The plans are 5 3/3" X3/4" by at least a foot and I have three planks picked out totaling about five feet in total length. I'll pay you of course and I was thinking if you'd like you can keep what's left to make more out of to maybe offset the cost of your labor a bit and you can make more to sell .
You could make grips for almost any auto, but I think in might be a bit thin for revolvers .
I'll post pics as soon as I can .
Please let me know if any of y'all are interested .
This is an exotic hardwood and would make bestful grips.
Thanks,
