Breakfast with my pastor

I've invited my pastor to come over for breakfast in the morning, Wednesday, Jan. 10th. Just my sausage and biscuit recipe, with coffee and orange juice. I've already set the table, just to be sure I've got everything out as planned. He's no wimp of a preacher, so my evolving man-cave won't shock him.

He and I hit it off very well and he's become a good friend as well as being my pastor.

Well, its now Wwednesday morning and my pastor has just left. Everything went perfectly as to my having everything ready right on time, the coffee was good, sausage and biscuits turned out just as theyn should have, orange juice cold. We ate and talked of many things as we ate, and not too overly pious. Afterward we read Scripture and prayed together. Then I turned on the TV and we watched some of my photography via my home made DVD. And drank coffee as we watched.

My daughter sent me a refrigerator magnet that reads: "Great mornings start with coffee and Jesus."

Adding my pastor's fellowship doesn't hurt, either.
