Another Scam

I got an email notice that was this heading:

"UPS- Costumer Service"

No I didn't open it, I deleted it---
Missed it?
Take a look at the second word again !!

Maybe it is for Halloween. They probably want to remind you to ship your costume early to avoid the holiday rush. :D

I've gotten the same wording on several different emails claiming different businesses, I'm certain they all come from the same scammer.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
I got an email addressed from me to me thanking me for paying for my subscription (or for buying something) to the tune of $4950.99. Except the rest of the from address ended in .jp

Oh, Frank, I used get that McAfee thing every couple of days also - I wrote the info to the right of the @ and set it up for anything with that domain to go straight to SPAM.

I get an average of 20 spams every day, and they all go to the spam folder, I have about 56 different domains that get sent to spam automatically. I think after a while the spammers stop because their spam never gets opened.

I got another call from a person saying, "Grandpa, I was in an accident and need money", may the fleas of a thousand camels infest his groin. greg

Recieved a phone call from Amazon stating a questionable charge was placed, $1100 using the credit card attached to that account.
"Press 1 if this was not you".
Figured it was a scam so I pressed 1.
Foreign sounding person, with boiler room background noise, said he could help me stop this charge from going through.
All I had to do was go to my computer and allow him access and he could block the charge.
Went to my computer ( not really, never left my chair) and started it up.

Told him my computer was starting up but was doing some updates, give it a few minutes.
Had him waiting a good 4 minutes, then I gave him an ear full.
He hung up.
