Another FoNRA event

Well, last night, Miss Penny & I were able to attend another FoNRA event as guests. (Meaning we were not on the committee, or having to work.) We had helped our Field Rep get this area's event started several years ago by being on that committee and working. Now that they have built up some good committee members,, we have stepped away.
But this event is in my home county, and actually closer to us than the event we run. As such, we know a lot of people there. The local Sheriff is on the committee, and he used to be a cop in Lake Lure. Great guy.
So, we went to enjoy the evening,, spend a little & support our district. Plus,, Miss Penny wanted a chance at another purse like I won, so we could give it to our granddaughter.

Once there, I was asked by the committee Chairman if I would be an auction spotter. Of course I agreed, as I do enjoy that. It's not hard for me.

Now, I didn't buy as many tickets as I do at my event,, but we did buy some,, and when the night was over,, I'd won a few more goodies!
A Grizzly 40 qt cooler, a Leupold 3x9x40 VX Freedom scope, and a Kimber Micro 9 2 tone.

Not a bad evening at all!!!!!!!

And, we were seated next to our Congressman's representative. Our Congressman is Patrick McHenry, and a NRA member. He was unable to attend, as he's working in DC right now.

Again, I urge any & all to get out & attend a FoNRA event. it's always fun!

They are fun regardless of where they are. You done good Contender! I rarely win anything. It is fun anyway.

My first one will be March 23, then another fairly local one sometime in April. Got to watch my pennies at the first one so I have money to spend at the second. But, as all said, they are a lot of fun and the money goes to good causes.

I went to my 1st one last Saturday night and it won't be my last. Loved it! It felt great to have that many people in the same room with beliefs like mine!

Yep, they are fun! And,, winning is the icing on the cake. But,, even if I didn't win a single thing,, I know the money is going to help a good cause!
