I know virtually nothing about Ruger shotguns but a local guy has offered me a Red Label for sale. RENE shows there's a zillion variations and a search of auction sights didn't show me one exactly like this.

It was made in 1993, Sporting Clay edition, 30", 12 ga., vent rib, blued barrels with choke tubes, stainless receiver, black pad, a box I haven't seen, not the straight stock ~ (pistol grip??), checkered, at least 95%.

How high or low is $900.00 assuming I've described it correctly?

$900 is right in the ballpark, actually a pretty good price on the SC - you can always shoot for less and see what happens.

The Red Label is, in my estimation, an under rated shotgun. I shot one for nearly 20 years.... skeet, sporting clays, 5-stand, and even a little trap. When I retired a few years ago, I got into serious sporting clays and sold the Ruger to buy an SKB 85 TSS.

I really like my Sporting Clays model, the fitted case is a nice feature.

I think 900 is a very good price for one, I gave a little less than that for mine a few years ago.

When I got mine the PO had chopped the stock and put on a Pachmayr pad, so I think thats why it was cheaper. A new one from Numrich was easy to fit.
