I am reading that the world is scheduled to end tomorrow, 9/23. The wife and I will be on the road to Maine early in the AM, so out of touch. So, would someone kindly send me a PM if it does end, so I can be aware of events when I check e-mails late in the day?

If the world ends we will let you know, by the way great time to go to Maine crowds are gone yet the good lobster places are still open.

Great minds think alike

Plus, reports are that there are still stripers to be had around the mouth of the Damariscotta River -- 5 minutes up the road from our front door!

For you information, the world will be here for at least another 1,007 years. Rest easy.

Yes, and I hear it's scheduled for a complete remodel sometime after that 1007 years.

IME, the biggest, best-tasting, and least expensive lobster rolls in Maine can be found just off the Maine Turnpike (Rte.95), in Lewiston - the "loaded" lobster roll sandwich @ Chick-A-Dee.

I sure wish you'd have announced this a few days sooner. Doesn't give me much time to prepare now. I have a whole lot of emergency rations that I have to eat between today and tomorrow !!! Can't let them go to waste. :(

is this related to some cosmic alignment that was predicted in the bible (saw part of show on directv)

or

the aftermath of rocket boy's actions?

Too far inland! Those lobsters couldn't possibly get there in under 45 minutes, even if they jumped right off the boat in to a truck. Where I get 'em they jump right out of the boat in to the pot! :D

Yeah -- the cosmic alignment that happens every 18 months or so...

I still go with JC's word on the matter :"No one knows but the Father...", and I sorta think that "No one" includes the "numerologist".

No one knows of the rapture when the Lord takes the Church out of the world, but the 1007 years begins after that.

Being raised Southern Baptist, I get your drift...but regardless of how I was taught, the way my Bible reads, it's 1003-1/2 years after that.

Trailer for a TV show that was on directv last couple weeks.
I caught it when it was showing some star alignments, but lost interest and continue searching for something else

I'm a fan of Fat Boy in Brunswick.

Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth-shattering kaboom!

Maybe the guy was predicting the Missouri vs. Auburn game tonight; Mizzou is getting killed.

51-7 Auburn, and the fourth quarter just started. Whether the world ends tonight or not, I think Barry Odom's coaching career at Mizzou just did . . .

I would like to help, but I missed it as well.

GEE! They need to give us more lead time!

The world ended (rocket man do his thing?) and I missed it. Sigh.

I usually have the radio tuned to KFI when I go to bed. That's when coast to coast comes on with George Nory. He always has these far out people come on for interviews.

A few nights ago he had someone who claimed to know all about Nibiru (Planet X). I don't remember much since I was falling asleep but I do remember that he said Nibiru was inhabited by 12 foot tall humans.

Man, where does he dig up these weirdos?
