45 acp 230 or 255

I want to show you my new Ruger I purchased today. A New Vaquero in 45 acp.
I already have a Vaquero in 45 Colt and a 45 Blackhawk convertable
with acp and colt cylinders and will shoot 255 grainers out of them two. So I am thinking I may stick to 230 grainers
with this one. What's your opinion? Any load recommendations?

It will work fine with the 255WFN if you want to use them.

You can also load them up into a pretty decent hunting round if you so choose.

Your point of impact vis-a-vis those fixed sights might help you decide lighter or heavier bullets. :wink:

Might need to do the JB Weld trick to raise the front sight if going with snappier/heavier loads.
