I have tried and failed to carry my 3” GP100 without it printing in a jeans pants pocket with a T-shirt hanging over the pocket, in an inside jacket pocket and on my hip under a suit coat.

Where and how do you carry your 3” GP100 concealed without it printing?

6' 180lbs, I can conceal a 4" Security Six, or GP100 with a Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake with the IWB loops at 4:30, flipped cross-draw, but worn strong side. It is a pretty big firearm, but under a jacket, or even an untucked shirt I can get away with it.

I used to carry a full size 1911 under an untucked T-shirt and got away with it just fine. You may be noticingit more than anyone else would. When I first started carrying I felt like I was trying to hide a small car under my shirt, and was sure everyone could see it. You'd be amazed at how much the uneducated miss.

Hi,
Try a fanny pack. I know some will say, 'but the bad people will know you're carrying'. To which I say, 'good, hopefully they'll go pick on an easier target'. Look at Galco, Bianchi and Tommygun ones. (I have trouble with an sp101 on my belt; I wouldn't even think about a GP100.)

The Maxpedition Versipacks are good carry bags, and they don't look fashionable (which is advantageous for guys). They're all business, unless you get one in pink.

I use one to carry a 4" GP, and it works fine.

Try the "appendix" carry. On the front of your pants just left or right of the belt buckle/button (depending on which handed you are). A 3" revolver is at the upper limit of sized guns I can pull it off with. Good quality holster and belt required due to the sturdyness of the Ruger. I utilize that method for a Glock 27 and S&W M&P compact and a 3" revolver. I usually have a T shirt tucked in and an outer shirt loose untucked. Printing has never been an issue.

Like Tioga County, I too am 6' 180 and I carry mine either at 4:30 in a Don Hume belt slide or 'Mexican' style over my appendix. In a pinch also sometimes just in my right front pocket with grip a little exposed with t-shirt cover. Never been spotted, even by my fellow carrying cohorts.

I carry a 4" S&W Model 28 in a homemade IWB holster under an untucked T-shirt. No problem. The secrets to absolutely concealed and comfortable IWB carry of even a big, heavy handgun? Well, as always, a good, stiff belt, plus -- and this is key -- pants 2" too big in the waist.

I used to carry a 3" GP (still kicking myslef for letting it go) at about 4:30 like the others have mentioned. Simply Rugged holster for both IWB & OWB. I never had luck with just a t shirt covering it because the rubber grips would grab the shirt. But something a little heavier would do the trick.

I am 6' and 215lbs with a 30" waist. I carry a speed six in a left hand IWB tucked in the small of my back so the butt faces right. I have done this in cargo shorts and an untucked tanktop regularly in summer.

All depends on the individuals body frame, lot of nice concealment holsters out there you just need to find one tailored to your body type

That's my carry gun. I use an Uncle Mike's IWB soft holster with a thin belt and I carry it just to the right of center in front, the appendix carry as stated above. I'm 6' and 170 and I can carry it comfortably with any type of clothing. I even go running with it (as long as I run in jeans shorts). Never a printing problem.

X2, Rob's Sourdough, w/inside the pant's strap's, mine is also currently in 1911, a bobtail commander, I carry it from the time I get out of bed till I go to sleep. I have done this for a couple years simply because the revolver I used to carry (sp-101) was not as comfortable as the flat thin contour of the 1911. But even the pistol was as easy as the 1911 to conceal in one of Robs sourdough's wearing shorts with a loose fitting T shirt. In my suite it's very easy, I think the Simply Rugged Sourdough is the best holster made for Inside the waist band carry, !! They've worked for me for several years now, the thin contour that spreads out and distributes the entire holster in a very comfortable manner. Hats off to Rob, a great down to earth Guy that knows how a WORK holster should be made!

I carry a ful size 1911 IWB every day. In the summer is t-shirt or polo shirt, and it conceals just fine. O occasion it has been a M-28 or M 25-5, also IWB. As others have said, a good belt and larger trousers is key.
