Was giving a 22lr 22mag a gift from my uncle. On the barrel it says H Schmidt on the cyl. it says Germany. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Thanks Jerry

Just out of curiosities' sake...... any German Proof Marks? I'm not very knowledgeable about such things but they can make a gun a bit more "interesting".......

if it says" Made in Germany" or even "Germany" anywhere on the gun, then it was made for export to here

there are a few different makers of single action 22s around and have been around for many years, more now from italy.........
