1975 Super Blackhawk

I have a 1975 SBH. I ordered a new ER cover. Original has a rust spot from zipped in a rug. New one from Ruger fit my Vaquero and Single Six. .217 Dia. screw with 8-36 tpi. SBH .246 screw with 6-40 tpi Ruger cannot get me the correct one. Told me to send it in. Any one have any parts? Thanks, David

if the housing is a steel one, it can easily be polished out, refinished to blend in to the old finish ...we do this all the time...............

May have to, I've not blued any guns parts. I've black oxided parts The rest of gun looks nice slight turn line on cyl. Numrich calls this a "studded" barrel there is an insert in barrel.

This has a studded barrel. Called Ruger, Tech is going to send me a new one. Talked to a man who knew. Stud is brazed to barrel. Ruger replaces barrel to fix. Ever seen these before?
