It seems like ranch dressing is a big hit with foreigners visiting for the World Cup. I even saw someone on TV someone dipping French fries in it. Then I remembered Europeans like mayonnaise on their fries.😖 Personally I can’t think of anything I would want ranch dressing on instead of ketchup.

Ranch as a dip makes me nauseous, but the Ranch powder is good on pasta or rice.

Ketchup I go through spurts but it’s always an option in small amounts. Too much sugar for a diabetic.

I used to like ketchup and mayonnaise on my fries. No not French dressing. I liked the ketchup and mayonnaise separate.

On a salad? I like anything on a salad. I guess I like variety. Why eat the same thing the same way everytime?

I have been getting a kick out of the videos of foreigners enjoying our culture.

They love Ranch dressing, air conditioning, free refills and steaks. Lol.😂

I’m mostly proud of my countrymen for being good hosts.

As soon as I saw the story I immediately thought of my wife’s cousins wife. We hang out with them often as they live nearby and they’re great people. She carry’s a jar of ranch and uses very often. It’s a staple of life for her. We’re all immune to and she does make great ranch. I had more then I should have at the beach this past Sunday with them.

Sounding like Hidden Valley needs a European Importer/ Distributor. Have read several comments that it's not available in Europe & their visitors here are just crazy about it.
Ranch Fans to the point that TSA has released a statement about how much they can board a plane with to go home.

Love ranch dressing on my french fries. Started doing a long time ago when we used to go to Bob’s big boy back in Southern California.early 70s.
It’s gonna be a good ranch, so not one of these water down white looking sauces called ranch dressing. Started out using blue cheese dressing. That was really good back then.

Mrs. Vernon dips her fries in Ranch so eventually I had to try it, it's pretty good. If we go out for burgers I'll alternate the fries between ketchup and Ranch.

I dribble tabasco on a puddle of ranch to dip popcorn chicken or chicken tenders.

Ranch is great on a baked potato. I prefer mayo on fries, as well as ketchup.

Not a big fan of ranch on a salad, but it will do if that is all there is.

I will not consume ranch dressing. Period.

I like spicy mustard - but only on sausage links, hamburgers, etc.

I like ketchup on French fries, but nothing else.

I like a slab of sharp cheddar cheese and a pat of butter on baked potatoes (and sweet potatoes). I also like to eat the potato peal, because it has much more flavor than the potatoes themselves.

Bottom line - l enjoy the flavor of the foods I eat. Dressings, etc. only serve to hide that flavor.

Lots o' butter, cheese, and bacon bits on a baked potato. I am always surprised by how many people don't eat the peel. The skin of the potato is the best part.

I never eat the peel off anything, that would be gross.
I do eat the skin of a baked potato, because it hasn't been peeled.

I'm surrounded by family members that like Ranch Dressing, although I'm a staunch Blue Cheese guy.
Ranch brings back Green Goddess dressing flashbacks from the 60's.. my Mom loved the stuff (thanks SOOO much Sunset Magazine).
I am happy and proud that the U.S.A. is being such great hosts. I was fortunate to travel through Europe in 1969 for 6 weeks (I even got college credits) and except for the French in Paris, everyone we met were phenomenal hosts! Glad to return the favor.

Wow. I couldn't care less what foreigners eat. Remember, those are the folks that are replacing their leaders with arabs. They are incapable of making good choices.

I usually use Ranch dressing on salads. I sometimes use it for dipping other tavern-ish foods.

This is part of why I like Chick-Fil-A. They have an endless assortment of sauces and dressings.

Ranch and ketchup? Nah…chunky thick blue cheese and BBQ sauce. Those two are all you need. I BBQ’d up some tasty burgers last night. A little mayo on the bottom bun, a couple slices of pepper jack on the burger, some chopped onion and BBQ sauce under the top bun. Blue cheese dressing on iceberg lettuce salad. One of my favorite dinners.

I’m not anti ranch, but would not miss it if it were gone. I can’t think of anywhere I substitute it for ketchup

Ketchup on salad? Not for me. Again, that's why we have choices.

I like ketchup too, but only on foods that would normally be expected to need ketchup. Fried taters, french fries, scrambled eggs, burgers/dogs, etc.

I agree.

I guess I'll be odd man out once more. For French Fries I like Thousand Island dressing. Either that or nothing at all.
Never did like ketchup on my fries. On baked potato, lots of butter plus sour cream and chives.
I like mustard and ketchup on my burgers plus lots of onions.
I know there is some disagreement about ketchup on hot dogs but when I go that was it's a 50/50 mix of ketchup and tobasco sauce. A whole nuther ball game.

I ran out of french vanilla creamer for my morning coffee so I tried some Ranch dressing in my coffee one mourning.... Wow taste great... What a delight!!.. Ill never switch back to french vanilla again   🤪🤪🤪:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Blue cheese is best on fries but ranch will work in a pinch. Wendy’s fries and ranch are good. But Blue Cheese is best.
