    Suppressor for 22/45 threaded 22LR

I'm not trying to be rude or distant. Just check NFA Act of 1934 and read thoroughly. Let's keep it that way. I hope you will understand my reasoning to just drop this Post.

I cannot reply to your personal emails. The "Express" doesn't jibe with my set-up. I.E. Fees, etc...we need to not post any further. My email is [email protected]. Shoot one this way and I'll explain.

    Suppressor for 22/45 threaded 22LR

One "stamp" per toy. On your ATF application, you must provide the equipment serial number, in addition to local LE chief sign-off approval/fingerprints/mug shot. Your Class 3 dealer submits, ATF approves, equipment is sent to the Class 3 dealer from mfg. for your pick up, with whatever fees...

    Bit of a Bearcat Quandary

Pretty EZ and cheap. Get a wood dowel from HD or Lowe's. Most likely 1/8 " and some 120, 180 grit flexible sandpaper. The hard part....glue one edge of sandpaper to dowel and cut lengthwise to fit cylinder bore. (let her spin around chamber, chucked in hand drill)) I would recommend Titebond...

    Moly Grease as bore treatment

Slick 50.....IMO an old (30 yrs or so) snake oil. Cheap 10-20- 30 wt. motor oil with addition of teflon. I knew one of the "still" mixers. Whether it has benefits, ???. I say 10-20-30 wt. because not consistent, whatever cheapest. Add teflon and (mineral spirits ??) for consistent weight. I may...

    Those pesky boresnakes-What to do?

Pete, the Boresnakes are available in different calibers. As for "snapping" the cord, it wasn't a Boresnake. Ain't no way. I do recall that years ago, there was a "pull through" cord that you could lower from muzzle to chamber and screw on a regular rod-type brush. That, I can see perhaps...

    Those pesky boresnakes-What to do?

rocdoc is on target. .22 RF are outside lubricated. They are not .460 Weatherby Magnums that foul a barrel with heat, pressure, kryptonite shavings, etc. You'll be surprised at accuracy improvement with a dirty .22 rimfire barrel vs. clean, shiny bore. And, no, it ain't gonna rust from...

    remington case split in half

Factory new and sitting in a warehouse for a "long time" may connect the dots. Maybe aluminum cases?

An Old Berns-Martin Holster For An Old Blackhawk

I don't think Elmer was ever into front-breaks. He was big SA and S&W 29, etc. Charley Askins was. I came onto scene, mid-term. Most of my career was revolvers. Early 70's to late 90's. Skeeter Skelton days. I think the Berns-Martin was long gone. As I posted, am almost sure mine was...

    Ruger Bearcat Pictures

jpdesign....I like that "rounded" butt on Bearcat. Am I correct from picture that it is rounded? Rarely post as I have non-traditional......Clements' adj. sight Bearcat, Sack Petesron grips.... Sacrilege.....but, they don't know..

    remington case split in half

Pics aren't that great but they appear (to me) to be reloads. Notice the resizing rings above rim and uneven trimming at case mouth. My headlights are probably dimmng but I would guess they are most likely homegrown reloads. Not at all bad, to certain extent, if you can control # of reloads...

An Old Berns-Martin Holster For An Old Blackhawk

Interesting......yrs ago I carried a 5" S&W Mod. 27 in similar breakfront holster as deputy sheriff in Tx. Think it was a Tex Shumaker. He was retired L.A. Sheriff's Deputy. Don't know about Elmer, but, it was favorite of Charley Askins, an equally famous gun writer and Border Patrolman. Rode...

    Porting

Super Vel....I remember well. For grins.....31.0gr H-110 and 180 gr bullet. This is .44 Mag. Fire at night. Muzzle flash extends out about 12' and, with Magna-Porting, about 4' from ports. This, in a 4" S&W 29. No, it would not be a good "traffic stop" weapon.

    Porting

My experience with 4" S&W 29. MagnaPorted, including their SS Metalife finish. Superb work, recoil reduced "a little", but muzzle flash increases alot and "blast" much greater on ears. Poor choice in darkness for defense but personal preference for hunting. My opinion, nah.....

    Dissapointed wtih LCR!

If you are worried about "printing", stick in pants.......just be sure the front part, not the back of pants. Well, that might keep everyone from approaching.......
