And these are the standard 10rds.... I guess maybe folks are concerned that their 15, 17, 20, 30 round capacity mags won't be legal anymore????

Stupid just stupid.

Also the second auction has a 15rd mag pictured. Stupid.

I was I was rich.

It is a 15 rd in the photo, but he states 10 rd.

Just unbelievable eh? Almost makes me want to sell mine on eBay ..... naaaaaahhhhhhhh :D

There are a lot of eBay auctions for magazines that are labeled 10rd, but are in actuality 15+ round magazines. They do it to get around eBay's stupid rule against mags over 10 rounds.

As pointed out, those are the 15 rounders. However, there are some 10 rounders on ebay going for ridiculous prices.

Here's a USED 10 rounder that's up to $48 with several more days to go on the auction. This mag sells NEW for $28 on Midway.

Here's another used 10 rounder going for $62.

And, I know this isn't the rim-fire section, you should see some of the selling or asking prices for the Hot Lips, Steel Lips or Ruger BX25 magazines.

OMG.... 2 BX25's on GunBroker.com and look what they are getting for those..... http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=326379972

Not that I have anything against Capitalism, I just can't believe the folks are buying it at those prices. It all comes down to Supply and Demand.....

Midway USA has 32rd Promag Magazines for much much less...(24.99) appears those are the only magazines in stock a the moment.... but you can only order 2 at a time of any magazine it seems.

I was going to post a question on the second one.." are people really this stupid?" but I have to log in and I really can't remember my password and sign in name.

Yep, that's a 15 rounder in the picture... maybe that's really what they are selling.

Ebay doesn't police auctions like they once did. You can describe stuff anyway you want and get away with it. I used to try to tell people when they would post 11rd 40 cal mags and call them 10. I didn't want someone to ship to CA and get in trouble but there is so many I gave up and then there are the guys that know but don't care. That is the type of thing that gives the gun control nuts ammo against the good guys.

Some of this pricing is just insane. I am very tempted to sell some things. I could really use the money to pay my lawyer.

Yep I use to sell 10 rd glock mags on ebay for an average of $50 a mag. You at one point could get them here for $10 each used. Prebans would average $80 each. I love auctions because it gives people the chance to see how bad they really want something.

I can remember fighting a guy for a 1903 trigger guard several years ago. I tapped out at $480. I got caught up in the thrill only to realize a reproduction was only $80 so I let it go.

Every stinking time we have a gun ban scare the idiots drive up prices and wipe out supplies for us intelligent people ! Try finding 9mm brass , lead and dies anywhere !!! I wanted an extra mag for my p89 and looked all over, Midway, Mid south, cheaper than dirt all back ordered called one place and the expect to have a shipment of them in March !! Really ?????????????????????

Stanimals2... if you need an extra mag... contact me privately... I'll sell you an aftermarket one for what ever the price used to be on them.... I've got plenty.... even got a few that have gotten rusty but I'm sure would clean up fine.
