I gave Charley a call yesterday and we talked for a while. He has not gotten a new laptop yet so has been off the forum. Adding to his daily life he was told he needs cataract surgery, but the local VA in Clearwater has cancelled his appointment twice now. He cant drive so has his auto up on blocks doing maintenace work on it. He DOES ride his bicycle everyday for shopping attending church etc. Charley is the person who rides with me to the Ruger Gathering every October.
He says he is enjoying life without being glued to his computer.

He is a hoot at the forum get together. He is missed. I do understand about the cataract surgery, had one eye “fixed” last Nov! A pox on the VA! Good luck Wiz!

Hope he gets his surgery soon. I had both eyes done about a week or so apart. So. please tell him not to sweat the surgery. It's a piece of cake. The actual surgery takes maybe 15 minutes and I didn't feel a thing. I wore glasses for 40 years. After the surgery, no more glasses.
