Who here made belts?

Do I remember correctly that a member here makes good quality 1.5 inch wide leather belts?

My 2 G&G brand belts are now many years old and need replacing. I’d rather buy here than go on an eBay search. No stores local to me have anything.

Tallbald’s area was very hard hit, like ours, from the December 10 tornado. I have tried to contact him and also checked newspaper/internet articles but haven’t seen any mention of Don anywhere.

I initiated a thread here shortly after that tornado, looking for Don. Sadly, he has not resurfaced, and as noted has not logged on since. I fear the worst.

He was (hopefully still is) a good man and a fine craftsman. I own a nice flap holster he made for an Old Army.

Really... I bought two belts from him probably over 5 years ago and they are still in great shape and still tough enough for carry. I hope he and his wife are okay... they had a tough time a few years ago with the loss of his or his wife's parents.

I got 2 of Don's belts a good number of years ago and wear them regularly and they are still almost perfectly straight. Great belts for sure. Sure hope he and his wife are ok.

You know, I bought a holster from him too. Wow, I’d forgotten about him. Still use the holster though.

He posted in September of 2021. He only disappeared after the tornado last December 10th.
At least, if you're referring to Tallbald. If you are referring to ShortBBL, I can't say.

I could still use a brown belt and will see if Tallbald maybe responds here or I’ll look into one of the others you guys recommended.

I’ve got 2 or 3 holsters from Simply Rugged that are great so expect the belt will be the same.
