Received a $10 off $50 purchase coupon for Cabela's. Checked and found Herter's ammo on sale. Bought .38 Special 158 grain FMJ ammo (I don't load jacketed myself--just load what I cast) and bought 200 rounds for 27.3 cents a round. Nice these days. Brass reloadable cases (yeah!). May use the $10 off a $75 purchase "for a friend" to buy a little more because I'm my own friend right? Miss Penny can enjoy .38 Special in her SP101, Taurus snub and Bond little bitty derringer. Checked the slugs with a magnet before buying and they weren't magnetic so I'm happy. Pretty good reviews and a "low demand" caliber according to what I read.
