Or vise versa. We each had been married before, but maybe learned from it as we;ve been married 39 years today. Not all roses like most but we've generally had a damn good go of it. A lot of good fun & memories over the years.

She's a sweetie.

Congratulations to you and your wife.

Not trying to outdo you but It’s our 40th anniversary today 🍾🎉🎈
First and only for both of us, I like to think we’ve also had generally good times, lots of fun and good memories but I’ll have to check with her to confirm that 🤣 We have two beautiful daughters of which she deserves most of the credit, we love going to live music shows together (just got back from Billy Strings and going to see St Paul and the Broken Bones on Tues). As they say “Happy wife Happy life” 1776594414427.png

51 years last march. I know there are some here that will beat that. Its been a little rougher than I expected. Illness, devastating medical bills, lay offs. some fall out from her abusive childhood, and my lack of understanding that. But I have seen through it all what a remarkable woman God had given me. I learned so much about myself, Ill refrain from bragging about her lest I boar you all.

coming up on #55 - bless her heart .... the only reason she hasn't shot me by now is because I have a very solid gun safe 🤔
My wife is slated to be the only Baptist the Catholic Church canonizes in Sainthood.

My wife has taken over her old preacher's saying.
We committed to each other till death do we part.
Divorce never came up and was never an issue.
Murder on the other hand.....

There's another name for her besides "sweetie". It's called "Hottie". (no disrespect intended)
Good for you and good for both of you!

they do have a way of keeping a man balanced.... usually by keeping us off guard 🫨

Thanks to Covid, we didn't get to go celebrate our 50th. Sadly, now due to her health we may just have to just cuddle once more on the sofa. But, I'm hoping she takes a turn for the better and we can take a river cruise to celebrate our 55th this year in style. 🙏

Congratulations to all. My best half and I will hit 25 in June. She is my tied score bottom of the ninth 7th game walk-on grand slam. Or whatever is bigger and better than that. Don't follow or know but I think that's a pretty big deal. Second go for us and it's the one. I'm thankful for every day we get to add. Good luck to all.

I think all of us have had a few moments like that. When we got married I told her it was a contract for 99 years with option for renewal! Still working on that first part. 54 years old and counting.
