I know that I read it somewhere like one of Lyman's old Cast Bullet books. I don't actually own it but saw it at a friend's house. Just wanted to see if anyone else was using it.
I don't have my Lyman Cast Bullet book close to the desk right now, but that sounds like it's in the general range of a lot of their "pop gun" loads using Unique.
I've used some of Lyman's similar loads in .30-06 and .303 British. They make nice 50 yd plinkers. Some say they're good to 100, but I've found one needs a mortar crew to use them effectively out there in my guns...
Be sure to give 'em a moderately snug crimp so the powder lights off well. I've seen folks recommend a filler to keep it located (Dacron or ???) but I think most published loaders have gotten away from recommending fillers these days.

that is a little better than a pop load, should get you close to 1500fps from a 20" bbl. I use enough 2400 to get me about to the same velocity and it is a fun and accurate round in my Winchester lever guns. I don't know about fillers with such a powder, don't think it would be a good idea, Crimping 3030 is always a good idea when used in a lever gun. Chief aka Maxx Load
I shoot 10gr Uique with 170gr cast quite a lot, great for max 100yd shots. Smooth shooter and economical as well, would use it on close in deer with no qualms at all. Like said above, crimp em.
Don't know the specs on the bullet you talk about but the 170gr SAECO bullets I like to use have been loaded with full house loads(over 2k) with no noticeable leading. My normal loading chases it to about 1600. Model 94 Win. Don't answer your question but it does invite possibilities. Experiment and find out. Chief aka Mass Load
