Today started out great... I was able to help a nice young ambitious man get a job interview as a Stationary Engineer and it looks like he is going to be hired within the next few days. We went to lunch and talked with several nice people who offered him tools and any help they can give him....

I go home and felt chest pains so I dialed 911... My wife is a retired ICU RN and she had me all set to go for the ambulance. It was my first and hopefully last ride in one. I ended up in the hospital that I worked for so it's like old home week. They are taking great care of me and I'm having more tests tomorrow.

So say one for The Watertender and hopefully I'm on the mend!
 
Just took my 3rd huge whiz in that funny looking pitcher and am getting a transfusion right now.
I played the old Nervous Norvus song "Transfusion" for my nurse and had her laughing.... Especially with the line, Hey daddio! Make that Type O!!
 
I really hate to hear that watertender. Did they find anything out about what caused your chest pains? Hopefully it’s nothing serious. I never had any heart problems or chest pains before I found out that I was needing a bypass. Came as a surprise to me in conjunction with some other tests that we’re being done. I hope you get out of the hospital Soon and have no further problems. Prayers up.

I actually have a GI bleeding problem that they found. I had chest pains because my hemoglobin and a couple of other blood numbers are low.
I'm in the 2nd hospital that I worked for, I was originally in the 1st hospital I worked for and they transferred me to the larger better one.
I'm glad everyone remembers Transfusion!
The RN is still laughing about it

Will do! At the 1st hospital I had them laughing during an uncomfortable procedure. The PA and RN were doubled over in laughter and will be talking about the fart I let for quite some time. It sounded so good that they even felt better!! I warned them and let it rip!
