Welding up a new model hammer?

There are a number of gunsmiths that weld up new model hammers to remove the transfer bar and put in a 1/2 cock notch (For SASS competitions) Does anyone here have a diagram of where to add the weld. I have a couple spare hammers that I'd like to try to weld up. Thanks.

The easiest way to tell you where the weld goes to cut in a 1/2 cock notch is to look at an old model Ruger hammer, any caliber even the 22. The hammer bases are all the same size.

And just FYI, the trigger sear will need slimming to match the old model sear to work in the 1/2 cock notch.
