I got to thinking about it and since there is no record of Jesus dying a second time, I assume that he was not a human being. So where is he now? He was born of a human mother but he was not human? Is there any record of him disappearing after his resurrection?

No one as far as I know. That's what my question is. Where is he now and why is he not still around? I'm already assuming that he was not a human being. Does the human race not need him anymore? I'm not trying to berate him. It's just something I'm pondering and wondering if there are any answers I can understand.

John chapter one, verse one says "In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God. And the Word was God." Thomas called Jesus "My Lord and my God". Several places say Jesus is the Creator of all things. Jesus is NOT the Father, nor is the Father Jesus, but they, along with the Holy Spirit, make up the triune God. In Phillipians 2: 5-8 we read that Jesus emptied Himself to become a human being.

HE ascended after visiting the Apostles and several large groups of followers. HE clearly stated that HE was going to be with the FATHER after HIS work was complete and the Apostles were sent out into the world
I can go along with that but there is one thing that still bothers me. If he was in human form while here on earth, then ascended, why was his earthly body not found in the tomb when they opened it. Why did he need that earthly human body any more? I'm assuming it was his actual soul that ascended.

Humans don't need that earthly body when they ascend into heaven so why did Jesus need his?

Without saying that you need to rely on a belief, I can point to others in Scripture who also ascended into heaven but left no physical body behind.
Elijah the prophet was taken up (2nd Kings 2) and Hebrews 11:5 describes Enoch as being taken away and not found. Those are documented as being gone and leaving no trace behind. Do your research and see what you personally believe.

Know what guys? I'm not going to pursue this any further because I don't think I'm going to get an answer that makes exact sense to me. I'm just going to go with the "faith" thing. However, I don't believe any less.

But it was interesting.

What a GREAT post!! Probably lots of comments to this. I just have to add my 4 cents worth. :) I think, as VP Harris comments, you have to get to the roots. The roots comes from the Bible. You make a statement in your post that he was born of a human mother. Therefore, in my mind, you had to get that info from somewhere...ultimately, that would be the Bible, whether you actually took it from there or not, it was reported there first. From the Bible we also get the rest of the information in your questions. Not in order, here are the answers: The Bible stated Jesus was born of a Virgin mother. And she was married to Joseph. Nothing was said about either of them being human because the Bible is about human behavior. I know that because the Bible also states that animals are for the use of man. Therefore, we aren't talking about animals, but men, and women, who are humans. See my point so far? Gotta get to the roots here before the answers can be seen. Nothing was reported in the Bible about Jesus being born an animal, but was born a baby. The Baby Jesus. Therefore, he was human, since we know his parents were human. Born human, taught the Pharisees at age 12, in the Temple, died at about age 33. I don't believe his exact age at death was reported, but from his deeds during life his death can be counted up in years. So, in answer to your questions, yes he was human.
Following his death, he was resurrected after 3 days. This was reported, again in the Bible, by an angel at the tomb he was placed in after his death. A while of time goes by and Jesus was seen by Thomas because Thomas had said in a meeting of Jesus' disciples, that he would not believe Jesus had risen unless he saw the nail marks in his hands. So Jesus appeared to Thomas awhile after Thomas said this. Jesus showed Thomas his nail marks and also where the Roman centurion had pierced Jesus' side to make sure he did die. All of this was reported by the Bible. Now, the Bible also reports that Jesus disappeared after a meeting with his disciples when he ascended a cloud into heaven. The Bible further reported that Jesus told the disciples during the last supper that when he returned to heaven he would be seated at the right hand of God.
So, I believe I have answered all your questions, using VP Harris' roots method. Glad to help out.

Something called the Nicene Creed lays out the facts you seek. I'm guessing you never attended Sundays school or confirmation in a mainstream Christian Church ? They cover your questions pretty well.

He could supposedly make water into wine. Heard he's gotten kicked out of a few bars for not paying.

The first chapter of the Book of Acts describes His ascension into Heaven. Yes, Jesus was God from the very beginning as part of the Trinity. He became human in order to be a one-time sacrifice for all humanity. The Bible clearly states that He now sits at the Right Hand of God. Jesus existed from the timeless past as God, as did The Holy Ghost, the three, The Father, The Son (Jesus) and the Holy Ghost make up the Triune God, without beginning, without ending.

After His resurrection Jesus was in His glorified body, his earthly body changed to His spiritual body. The Bible explain this in I Corinthians chapter 15 and beginning with verse 35. At the Rapture, Christians of the Church Age are bodily drawn up to be reunited with their souls which are already in Heaven.

Best as I can explain it.
