Yes. They have a tough job.
Several years back one was shot and killed down the road from me. He was investigating reports of ongoing late night gun fire/lights and had tracked down the scumbag convicted felon poacher and pulled him over. As he was cuffing the scumbag he began to fight, pulled a gun and started shooting the Warden, hitting him fatally. He was still able get rounds off and hit the scumbag wounding him but sadly died on scene. Scumbag was later apprehended and convicted of first degree murder. His reason for killing the Warden? He didn't want to go back to prison.
How's that for a "adventure with humans"?

All the years I was a cop in Western Montana I knew some of the wardens. Tough job and even the judges don't give them much respect. But they have some good stories for sure.

I've watched that show occasionally.
Game wardens do have a tough job. They have my respect.

I watch it on occasion .....I do think some of it is staged ..
I like it when they show the hunters with bagged game , big game or even ducks that require to be tagged at kill site etc etc and the hunters have done everything correctly and legally.
They show so many hunters that are flat out Liars or dont tag deer or elk or dont have license and some flat out poachers..There are a lot of incidents where hunters that are knowingly or unknowingly in illegal areas or private property with out permission.
There one Montana warden I think named Brian and he isnt from Montana but from Wisconsin or Minnesota. It seems like He basically thinks every hunter is lying to him and he tells them so too. Kinda creepy to watch :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
