Just had a message from ruger that they hoped to ship my gun back too me June 30th. Gun was shipped April 15th. Does this seem like along time for a repair?

Might depend on what the problem was. Give us some details, then follow up with how you like or dislike what they did.

It sounds about right, the last gun I sent Ruger took about eleven weeks.

The weeks are longer when we're waiting.

YES! But I suppose they're busy. And I realize they don't charge you for the repair. I guess the main thing is that you'll get it back...and it should be fine. That thing is like a tank. You'll probably never have to send it back again.

It took a couple of months for mine. Actually a little longer. Sent it mid-June, and got it back in early Sept. Sorry, not trying to scare ya. They replaced the cylinder and crane, if I remember right. Chambers were too tight for some brands of ammo to fit in. Any way, I was hoping to get it back in time for my elk hunt in Montana. It came the day I left. After I left. Boy was I bummed about that. But, when I finally got to look it over when I got home, all was well, and it shoots great. Fun "little" gun.

Thanks for the replies. I some how figured it should be on it's way back and have been practically watching for the UPS truck. When they said another month I thought I had some how earned special treatment. Yes mt the weeks are longer when you're waiting.
