Yes, I know the difference between the 65 lb. brown dogs' poop and in mini doxies poop. Could I get a job at NCIS.
Actually spoke to a friend of mine and his daughter's HOA gated community is talking about getting a poop sample from all dogs so they can trace the DNA when they find it not picked up. Give them in inch..................

Drive them NUTS when they start doing that, drop a sample of human poop and see what dog they blame it on.

My daughter used to watch that show. She would get mad at me for ripping them about the many firearm innacuracies. I wouldn't watch the show at all unless she had it on. That stuff drives me nuts.
I went to a Kindle years ago to save space that books took up in the house. I've grown to love it & one of the perks of it is that you can read free samples of any book, usually 20-30 pages or so, to decide if you like it enough to purchase it or delete if you don't.
One of the thrillers I sampled last week had the main character, engaged in a life threating encounter with some miscreant, described how he 'loaded his Glock and put the safety on'.

Deleted with the quickness.

Probably charge the owners, too...
😹😹😹

Is that any stranger than when a so-called wine expert tastes a wine and tells you not only where it came from, but from which side of the mountain during a specific year? Amazing as it might seem, I can tell which dog's poop I am cleaning up when I clean up the backyard. Its an amazing skill!
Please don't say taste test. 😁

Sounds like someone's HOA fees are too high if they can afford to pay for DNA testing of dog shi+.

Those HOA folks are getting too big for their clipboards

Just saw a movie excerpt the other day where the Coroner is examining a murder victim, who was shot in the head, supposedly by the 9 mm found with him, and the Coroner says (something like), "Hey, there's something on his mouth." The Coroner then pulls a bullet out of the victim's mouth and says (something like), "He wasn't shot with a 9 mm, this is a .38!" Ok, my questions. He was shot through the temple, how does the bullet end up loose in his mouth? A .38 (which we all know is .357 inches), a 9 mm (which we all know is .355 inches). How good are the Coroner's eyes to be able to discern a .002 inch diameter difference in the bullet just holding it up and looking at it?

Most .38s dont use the same bullets found in 9s or 357s. some are similar, some are sufficiently different or even unique.

A 5/16 bolt is .3125" and a 8mm bolt is .315". The only way I can tell is by looking at the thread pitch. I work with enough mechanical things that I have learned to see the difference.

A 38 would be a longer.slug.

And that's taste-testing as well...?

One thing I've never been able to do is look at a nut and bolt and tell you it's size, much less whether it is metric or standard. Heck if I need a wrench I go get three then go back and get the right one. I finally bought some of those gauges that tell you the bolt size and thread pitch, and another that tells you what wrench size. They are flat and fit into a tool bag. I've saved myself a lot of walking over the years.

The saddest thing is, I know guys who can look at a nut or bolt and tell you all you need to know about it. Alas, a talent I was not born with.

Heck, I know some guys that can take things apart, throw all the parts into a bucket and put it all back together like it was nothing. I am fortunate to have a neighbor that can do this. Many times I have gone to the shop for a repair and astronomical cost The last time, I went, they wanted 3 hrs labor and the part 4 times of what I found it for at ebay. He fixed the issue in about 45 minutes.
