Trijicon Night Sights

Is there any special care I need to attend to with the Trilium Night Sights while cleaning the Gun slide on my 1911?......................................

I don't recall reading anything in the package for mine. Standard blued steel as far as I know but you could go to Trijicons web site and snoop around a little.

I know the hiviz type plastics say be careful with cleaners.

Yes there is...dont get any solvent on them or it will be time to order another set. The solvent will soak into the bulbs if you mop it on heavy and basically kill them. A simple wipe down with a cloth with a little hoppes or something wont do any harm. I had my first set on a P229 last 18 years before they were too dim to function as night sites.
