How do I remove an M77 front sight housing from the barrel?

I'm getting the barrel threaded so I can put a suppressor on my gun and I need to remove the front sight housing from the barrel. I've removed the front sight and underneath it was a set screw that I've removed. This is for a Ruger M77 Model 00749 made in 1986. What is the procedure to remove the housing? Any tips or advice are greatly appreciated.

It will likely need some heat applied to the sight. Sometimes sights have silver solder in addition to screws.

Have you discussed the sight removal with your gunsmith / machinist?

It looks like the band with the sight at the muzzle is removeable, and I assume the spring loaded ball keeps the sight blade in. What is the secret to getting the sight blade off? Mine won't move, with the ball depressed. After that, can the whole band be removed? 1 or 2 screws maybe?

I’ve seen similar information regarding M77 sight bands so pretty sure they are similar to No 1 barrels.

I havent had to much trouble getting them off. One I did take a heat gun to and then tapped it off with a hammer and a nylon punch.
