M77 new trigger

I did the same about 10 years ago on a LH Hawkeye. Not a tough project, as I recall I removed some inside wood to get the safety to function.

Didn't have to remove wood, but the metal work on the safety was tricky

I did not remove metal off the safety lever's shoulder. I removed metal from the shoulder of the trigger supplied by Timney. If desired, the factory trigger can be reinstalled in my 77 Mk II . No stock in letting was necessary.

I installed a Timney in a Browning X Bolt and I had to remove some wood inside the stock.
