Triggerless .22 rifle

That thread on the old .22 got me to remembering. I once got a .22 cal rifle at a yard sale. The thing that was interesting about it was that it had no trigger. It was a one shot bolt action but right in back of the bolt, it had a tab there that released the firing pin. So, to fire it one just pressed that thumb tab. Anyone ever see one of those things?

I sold it to a gun shop but it was so long ago, like 40 some years that I don't even know what he gave me for it. Wish that I had kept it now.

Yes, I believe I remember it being a Winchester. Any idea what one would be worth today?

In mint condition? Looks like about $800. Pretty interesting rifle.

I saw one sell a year or so ago for over a grand and it was about 80% . Very hard to find .!
