Hopefully this works, it is a link to an article in our local paper about an auction of over 270 rifles that a local collector had accumulated before he died. Lots of rare guns, the auction is set for Dec 6th, and will be available for online participation.

No, the link is to the story. I thought if anyone was interested they could search for the auction. I'm not a rifle guy, but I thought the story was interesting. Maybe one could google the auctioneer for more info.

OK, I'm kinda sorry I posted this. I get my paper thru the 'net, and I can't get back into the article because I have exceed my daily log in blah, blah. IIRC the auctioneer is from Hardwick, MN. I don't remember the name of the auctioneer, but it was a woman. The auction will be live on Dec. 6th, and the article said it will also be online. All I know, sorry. Like I said I wasn't interested, but I thought someone here might be. I will try to find out more.

OK, it is under VanDerBrinck Auctions in Hardwick, MN. I googled it. There is a desciption of what they have and it will be on Sat., Dec 6th. It is called the Gebrauer Collection. That should get you there.

Wow, they have an internet premium of 18%! I had no idea - I do like the D gun, but not with that added on.

all depends on what the closing hammer is. I factor that into my total bid price. I'm so incredibly torn on the D gun too, but my smith just showed me a Seekins in 7PRC that I am seriously considering.....
