I copied this from the Cold War Veterans Facebook page:

The Missing Sugar Bowl:

His mom came over to visit her son and cook dinner. He has a female 'room mate'. He assured his mom that they were just friends and he was NOT sleeping with her. THEN, the sugar bowl came up missing.....

Dear Mama,
I'm not saying that you "did" take the sugar bowl from my house; I'm not saying that you "did not" take it. But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

Your Loving Son, Anthony

A few days later, Anthony received a response email from his Mama which read:

Dear son,
I'm not saying that you "do" sleep with Maria, and I'm not saying that you "do not" sleep with her. But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the sugar bowl by now.

Your Loving Mama.

Too funny to pass up!

Sister in law and her daughter came to visit us at the mountain house a few years back... seems the daughter brought a young man with her... but it was okay for them to sleep in the same room because he was gay....

I wish I had thought of that when I was that age...... but I doubt it would have worked back in the '70s.

Ahh the 70’s. My wife and I married young, both 19. It was shortly after I got back from Southeast Asia. Now no one doubted we were having sex. In fact, the general feeling was we “had” to get married.

We then proceeded to have the longest gestational period known to man, almost 12 years. Yes we were surprised, but he turned out ok.

I had a friend that asked his wife`s hand to be for his blessing. He squinted at my friend and growled
" Now just why do you think I would want you for a son in law"? My friend said because in seven months
your going to be a grandpa!

A rumor I had always heard was that your first grandchild could arrive anytime while the second grandchild took nine months to arrive.
