Mom said that when I was a boy, I hated leaving my playing and the woods so much that I wouldn't even come inside to use the bathroom. She said there was a period of time when I kept getting constipated because I held it back so long. Guess I should have just carried a roll of TP with me into the woods. I know.... TMI.I can't say I remember my first outdoor adventure. Probably because it was prenatal.
Dad wasn't a fisherman. He hunted and camped and such. Hated the ocean after being packed on troop transports.
But my uncles were fishermen. All but one aunt enjoyed the outdoors.
In other words my siblings and cousins all grew up outside. As kids of the 40's & 50's, inside was for eating, sleeping and homework.
I really did live in Mayberry, we were all a little bit Beaver and more than a little Dennis.
Bury them or call a tallow factory , if there is one around.Dumb question, but what do they do when a horse dies. They would be pretty heavy to move.
