Is it illegal to have the front of my barrel threaded in California. Also if you get a tax stamp it's ok to have a suppressor as well in California right?
Thanks
From what I read in the California law it is illegal.
Doesn't look like you can do much down there.

I skimmed through the 'assault weapon' part and at first it looks like it is, then I realized the part I saw was specifically for pistols not rifles.....
Here in the PRC-
Threaded barrel not installed (by itself) = legal
Threaded barrel installed on a bolt-action pistol = legal
Threaded barrel installed on a lever-action pistol = legal
Threaded barrel installed on a pump-action pistol = legal
Threaded barrel installed on a semi-auto rifle with a fixed 10 round or less magazine (a bullet button equipped rifle) = legal
Threaded barrel installed on a semi-auto pistol with detachable magazines = illegal [PC 12276.1(a)(4)(A)]
Threaded barrel installed on a single-shot pistol = legal
Threaded barrel installed on a revolver = legal
