This sure will be a little unorthodox for Thanksgiving. We are going over to my sons instead of cooking here at my house. He has decided that he wants to cook a brisket on the smoker and I am making the potato salad, a turkey dressing, & with broccoli and rice and green bean casseroles. My granddaughter, who is one of my current residents at my house decided that she wanted at least some semblance of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner so that’s why the sides. Hope y’all have a good family meal and we’ll see you on the other side.

Since Thanksgiving will just be Wifie and I, I plan a non traditional meal also. We will be going to son's near Ft. Worth for Christmas in a few weeks so we have decided to stay home for Thanksgiving. Daughter and our two granddaughters from Helena MT. will also be at Sons along with other granddaughter and grandson with their Littles

This is what I'm fixing tomorrow. Goble Goble my arsh :) :)
I have made it before and it is pretty tasty;)
This Cajun Shrimp and Ribeye Steak with Alfredo Pasta are made with penne pasta, Cajun flavored shrimp, and steak all coated in a creamy Alfredo sauce.

Jim, that steak and pasta looks delicious!

I've cooked traditional Thanksgiving dinners before. It's good, and I do like the flavors.

But for the past 3 or 4 years it's been Italian. Today is lasagna. I can make excellent lasagna. And it's been a while so it should be really good!
