Super Single Six

So I'm in the shop minding my own business. It's raining cats & a few dogs out so I'm trying to load some ammo. The phone rings & it's Fermin [2 Dogs]. Kinda goes like this:

Fermin: I hear you need a sight.

Me: Well yes I intended to order one but haven't got around to it.

Fermin: How long's the barrel?

Me: 6 1/2".

Fermin: How old are you?

Me: I'll be 68.

Fermin: You wear reading glasses, bifocals or trifocals?

Me: Bifocals.

Fermin: Are you using the original blade in the rear sight?

Me: Yes but I opened it with a file to let more light in. I like lots of daylight on each side my front sight.

Fermin: Okay, I'll send you 2 front sights. Figure out which one you want & send the other back. The invoice will be enclosed, have a nice day.

Just like that there's a new sight on the way for my little Ruger. Oh & he said something about a screw to hold the thing on with.

Fermin is a top drawer type guy. If you need either a service he performs or an item he makes, you'll find no one better to do business with. I'll turn it over to Boge, he can explain the sight better than I.

This has been my experience too.. Great video.

While I've never met 2dogs, (Fermin) we've exchanged emails, PM's, and swapped some stuff. I can attest to the fact he's a good guy to deal with. I'm just glad I wasn't a BG when he was an active LEO!

Can't add anything to what's been said except if you shoot a single-six you owe it to yourself to get one of his sights.

I’ve got one of his sights. I like it. And the way Fermin does business is a great testament to the reputation of the members here on Ruger Forum.

Over the years I've sold thousands of dollars worth of bullets here. Never had a check bounce or been beat out of a dime. Like you say: a great testament to the reputation of the members here on Ruger Forum.
