Single six Internal lock

My 2015 production Single-six did not have the internal lock. I have one question of those that do have the lock, do you think it has affected the action?

1. They do not affect the action.
2. The locks were eliminated in 2012.
3. They are easy to eliminate by replacing them with a mainspring retaining plate from the Bearcat (the standard plate is too short):

The internal lock on the New Model Single Six is essentially a non-issue. You can ignore it, leave it unlocked, and it will never bother you. It's not like the hammer-block safeties on some modern guns that create mushiness in the action. It's just... there.

And if it REALLY bothers you,, you can swap out the grip frame with one that doesn't have the lock type stuff.

I just have never owned one with the lock and I didn't know if the shorter spring would change the stacking or feel of the hammer spring, if that makes sense?

Actually the lock spring gives a nicer action than the standard spring in my opinion, and I've switched to them instead of clipping the mainspring like I used to.
He could probably make and sell them!
