A few weeks back I was in the local GS and eyed a S/S Super Single Six in the used section, I checked it out and could tell that who ever owned it took good care of it and probably didn't shoot it much, I was looking for a safe at the time, so I couldn't justify spending my safe money on it, so, I passed on it. The following Tuesday I aquired my safe, jump 3 weeks ahead to today, I return to the GS today to see if it was still on the shelf and much to my surprise there it was still there even after 3 weeks, I asked to see it again and again I was struck by how clean and tight it still felt, I put a deposit on it and plan on having it just in time for my birthday on the 23rd of this month, I thought I was finished but just as I was about to leave the store something told me to look atthe rifle rack 1 more time, and there it was a so called "USED" Rifle that had been sold but never fired, it was a beautiful M77 in 30.06 with the high polished 22" tapered barrel, and only $595.00 needless to say I had to have it so I put a deposit on that as well, now I just have to hide my DROS papers in my safe so my wife doesn't find them! We call it "Rugeritis," And most of us do not even discuss wanting a cure.
Tell the wife you are working on her inheritance.
(Also remember this; Pray that when you die that your wife doesn't sell your guns for what you told her you paid for them.)
